Olde Main’s State of the Street Address Scheduled

GREEN BAY, Wis.—Olde Main Street, Inc. will host their annual State of the Street meeting on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the ARTgarage (1400 Cedar Street). The event will include a “Taste of Olde Main Street,” highlights from 2012, business and volunteer recognitions and district initiatives for 2013.
Light refreshments and hors d’ oeuvres will begin at 4 p.m. including samplings from Los Banditos, Big Tomatoes, Ten-O-One Club, The Attic Books and Coffee, Asian Taste Supermarket, Mi Tierra and others. The program will start at 4:30 p.m. with comments from Olde Main Street Board President Bill Macier, City of Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt and Olde Main Street Executive Director Jeff Mirkes.. The event will give a sneak peek to a revamped website and updates about the East River Trail connection project. Volunteer and business recognitions will include the Spirit of Main Street Award, Contributor Award, and President’s Award. Free parking is available off of Cedar Street. The event is free and open to the public.
Olde Main Street, Inc. is a non-profit organization established as a Business Improvement District (BID) to provide leadership and management for the community revitalization of a 25-face block area along and around Main Street in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin.
