Broadway District
The heart of the Broadway District is Broadway, located only two blocks from the Fox River. An eclectic variety of businesses line the historic streets in the Broadway District, which make it a unique and fun experience. Shops range from furniture and home décor to jewelry and fashion.
Indulgence is not hard to find in the Broadway District, with a selection of salons and spas that offer a wide variety of services, to numerous restaurants that tantalize the taste buds, you are sure to treat yourself to something special. Additionally, the Broadway District is home to Leicht Memorial Park, a new park with a multicultural theme developed for groups of all sizes and purposes.
Downtown District
Washington Street is the core entertainment spot of the Downtown District an features an exciting nightlife. From casual bars to energetic dance clubs, the Downtown District is the place to mingle. Eat at one of the Downtown District’s wide selection of restaurants, catch a show at the Historic Meyer Theater, or tour the impressive Brown County Courthouse.
Another feature of the Downtown District is the Fox River State Recreation Trail, a bike and walking trail. The trail starts downtown and stretches 13.5 miles along the Fox River to Greenleaf.
Olde Main Street District
Olde Main Street is also home to an exciting nightlife with a wide variety of nightclubs, pubs and entertainment venues for adults of ages and interests. Award-winning restaurants, wine tasting, art classes and an art gallery are “must stop” destinations on our city’s main street. Be sure to go treasure hunting at one of the antique and gift shops along Olde Main Street. The city’s oldest park, Whitney Park is a beautiful, passive resting stop near the Fox/East River Trail.
